Well, My harlequin is now being devoured by an Acan. I was wondering if he was gonna survive his little trip into the vortech pump a few days ago. Must have messed the little guy up pretty bad. He was doing fine yesterday.

Well what else do the Acans eat? I'm supposed to get one real soon.

I'm getting a fairly large (20 heads or so) red one. What do I need to know? No little kids to feed it.

Full light? Bottom of tank or middle? How far from other coral? How many types of Acans are there?

they tend to not like too much light (mid to bottom in tank should be fine), the tentacles on mine dont stretch out more than a 1/4" or 1/2" so they dont have to be kept too far away from other corals.
