Went in today and orderd the tank and stand. hopefully pick up friday and then its off to the races. I will make sure to post pics and all that during the process.
Oh yeah lol I couldnt go home without buying something i could leave with, , got some nice ocellaris clowns and probably going to buy a bta or seabea for them to play in lol.

Hey, jshroom86, if you have any left over gear you want to sell from the 29g, let me know. That's what I have right now. It's kinda funny, I have been looking at 40 breeders since setting up my tank. No plans to upgrade any time soon, though.

Well still waiting till friday for my tank to come in. I cant wait. I ordered my overflow from glass-holes.com today. So we will see how the drilling goes. lol, As far as the hardware goes Im building a 20 gallon refugium, Not sure if Im going to do all acrylic from scratch or if im going to use an old tank. I have A JBJ dual wavemaker and 2 Koralia nanos. A hydor eth heater which has worked amazingly and i love that it is out of the tank and easily adjusted. I am not sure what kind of skimmer to run I have a red sea prizm but not sure if im going to keep it or get a new one. Also will be buying a mag pump and some directional u tubes for the return. I wanted to drill those too, but I didnt want to be locked in one place once I put them in. I like to be able to change the direction every so often lol. plus I dont know where the best place is and these things are easily moved. I guess thats it for now, If anyone has any input on the build let me know i am open to just about any help i can get. This is my first attempt at a refugium so let me know any success or epic fail stories. thanks

If you buy a AGA 20G long, Lowes sells glass panes in the exact width of the tank, and the perfect height to build a nice sump/fuge out of. Thats what I used on my old 29 for a long time before upgrading.

Okay time to update. I just picked up the tank and stand. yay. I also just finished drilling the back side for my overflow from glass-holes.com. Waiting for my background, salt,in the mail and refugium project to get finished up and I will start loading pictures. Also went to coral ranch and had to come home with something....well a few things. Pipe coral(organ coral) mushrooms, a nice piece of torch coral, white eagle eye zoas (also has 2 eclipse polyps on it) and a small chunk of an anemone that got sucked through their intake, lol he was healthy when i seen him so we will see what happens. Oh yea and some mushrooms from Aquatic specialists. lol I could not help myself.
