    How many people research a fish before they but it.

    For me I do now because once it is in it most likely will not come out. I also want to make sure it will survive and my current fish will not get hurt by it.

    When I started it never did, I just purchased based on what looked nice to me.

    Always, everytime. Even each specific tang, or clown, etc. Far too much time, and money invested to toss down the toilet.

    I do research fish from time to time, but I dont keep but one in my tank because he's a ferocious knucle biting monster. Perhaps when I set up a larger tank.
