Default Best way to start a tank cycle

Just wondered what everyone thought was the best way to start a new tanks cycle.
I always started my tanks with Live Rick for about a month before adding any critters.

That's how I do it---getting ready to do it again. Slow is best and Rock is the best way.

Water, sand and live rock. Once you get past the initial cycle, it time to slowly add fish, and fire up the skimmer. From there its a guessing game.

un cured live rock to make sure it is enough waste to start it. also feeding the tank w/o fish in it to prepare bacteria for the bio load to come
