Pistol Shrimp and Cavitation Video...
So I found a cool video while researching pump throttling and cavitation. In the video you can see the bubble created, and then colapse producing the sound you hear.

Apparently the shrimp also produce a large amount of heat and a small burst of light when they snap. Cool!
