    Default question about cycling

My question is should we wait to put our fish in?

I have heard a couple different opinions so far on this subject. We are setting up the 125 and are using maybe 100lbs of liverock out of one of our established 75's so far. We decided to use three 30lb bags of new dry fine sand. We never took any rock out of the water for more than 1 minute tops. We transported it completely submerged for little to no die off. We also used 60gallons from one of the 75's. and have so far made around another 50g of fresh saltwater.

We have put some hardier corals in and they have opened up and look good. We have no nitrate or nitrite readings and .25-.5 mg/l ammonia(hard to tell the test color). The ammonia test kit is kinda old so I'm not sure if the ammonia is correct.

I see no reason you could not add the fish right away. I have moved many tanks without issue. If you have corals in there already and they are fine you should have no issue with the fish. I would just do a water change a few days later

awesome, I was thinking that we were fine. We just added another 33g brute trashcan full of saltwater. we should only need 1 more day of the RO running to get it full enough for the sump working.

Yeah my tanks moves went well. Just a small, short cycle. I started making my water last night. About 100G left to make! Woo
