    Default Solar Tubes

    I am looking at maybe doing solar tubes over my tank, I am not sure how it would look since my ceiling is vaulted.
    I am looking at these:

    My main issue is just how they would look. The cost savings would be huge!

    where are prices listed, looks like a good product. plus you can probably get a tax credit too.

    New tank will be in the same spot as the old.
    Price looks to start at $250 each so about the price of a ballast and fixture. I am gonna see if I can get a quote for installation as well as I hate being this kind of work.
    Yes there is a tax credit, we may look into putting these in the kitchen as well.

    that would be pretty cool. I dont think it will look too bad where the tank sits now and with your vaulted ceilings. It would be cool to see the difference between the tubes and your lights now. Hope you get them...

    At this point I will be just not sure when, will take a little time to save up the money.

    if you want to look up close i know they have some at menards in tipp city on display

    Yeah I looked that them before, they a little different I think. I am going to look at them again and see.

    Looks like maybe $450-$550 installed for each one. I am sure I can get a discount for buying 4 or more. This should be doable.
