    Default Reef Octopus DNWB-200

I will be reviewing the Reef Octopus DNWB-200. I purchased it yesterday from Aquatic Specialists. It is rated for up to 300 gallons. I will be running it on a 180 gallon FOWLR tank.

There are 2 reasons I purchased a skimmer that is rated that high.

    1) my tank is overstocked and the fish are VERY dirty
    2) I plan on converting the tank to a reef tank when the fish that are in it pass away from old age (20 years or so from now). Most of them are not reef safe.

Also on the tank is an Eshopps Wet/Dry filter. I'll be interested to see if running the skimmer will stop the filter from clogging every 3-7 days.

I'll be setting it up tonight. I wanted to look at it sparkling clean for a day, cause it'll never look like that again.

I think you'll be happy! My DNW-110 (identical to what Justin has on the frag tank in his shop) is doing wonders for my 29g. I would venture to say it probably gets a little bored

lol. no. I have so many projects going on at once (I need to stop that). When it's on the floor, it's too tall to reach into the wet/dry filter. I have to build a little stand for it.
