    Default Hello :)

Hi. I joined after following a Google search for a tribal or warpaint blenny. I have been trying to find more info on them and the search result brought me here. I had to register before I could read anything, so I did and here I am. I didn't find the information I needed, but I'm still happy to have joined another reef community.

My name is Sandy, I'm a stay at home mom. I keep and breed several snakes in addition to keeping aquariums. Reptiles and reefs are definitely addictive (and sometimes pricey) hobbies to have. I currently have a 46g bowfront reef and as soon as I get the funds for the lighting I want, I'll have a 75g reef up and running.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I don't have any recent pics of my tank but I'll be sure to get some when I can.

I bought the tank with fixture already built onto the canopy. It's a set of 4 T8 bulbs suited for a planted freshwater tank. I'm planning to replace it with the AquaticLife 6-Lamp T5HO fixture. I love the built in digital timer and the unit itself looks so sleek. After a few financial setbacks, I'm having to take things slower than I would like with this tank but it's just an exercise in patience I guess. It's giving the pods in the tank additional time to increase in number as well, so I guess that's a plus.

    Thanks.

I wanted to know if the ***es can be distinguished and if a pair could be kept in my 75g. I also wanted to find a reputable supplier that has them in stock. I first saw them when I was looking at Aquatic Connections website but they have a horrible BBB rating (F) so I don't plan on doing any business with them.
