    Default Zoa Eater?? ID please.

hey guys, a few days ago i noticed a few of my zoas weren't opening and this is what i saw when i took a closer look. well i wasn't sure what to do to get them off, so i took all of my zoas out, did a freshwater dip to see what would come off of them and a bunch of smaller bugs, not sure if they were the same (they were clear, maybe babies?), but too small to get a pic of immediately came off and i picked 4 of the bugs thats in the pic off with tweezers. i also saw little white dots that formed a ring on the side of one of the zoas (eggs maybe?) that i scraped off. so a few hours after i put my zoas back in the tank all of them opened up, but noticed that some of my kedds reds have small chunks missing.

do you guys know what this is and how to get rid of em?

That is a zoa nudi. Will diguise itself among your zoas. Use a good dip solution like Revive or similar. dip will probably not kill the eggs. scrape off and QT for a few days. dip again. I would check all zoas and dip them as well.

always dip and check for this nasty bugger before putting zoas in your display tank they reproduce fast and take a long time to fight off once they start multiplying.

Ok, thanks guys. I will definitely start dipping before adding things to my tank from now on.
