Anybody just run their acthinics for a couple of days to help combat algae? I've read about it multiple times, j/w if you had any personall experience?

full no lights...my controler auto simulates cloudy days and follows the moons faze. pretty kewl
my 150 was no lights for a week when that wind from the huracaiin came through. didn't loose anything

Nah, I have a Samsung Blu-Ray player on my list. I was looking at those Aqua controller's with the serial port. Cant really spend any money until Breytins lip is fixed, don't know how long we'll be in a hotel or something. BTW Eric I have something thats in your price range...:evil: Anyway, to the point on hand. How long do you leave your lights off?

3 days works well

Panasonic Blu is what you should be getting.

after 3 days do you do anything special or just fire everything up as normal?

I just turn the lights back on at normal time

if your doing it manualy just fire em up as norm.
im running a neptune aqua c jnr it runs every componet on the tank from the lights to the multiple fans heater streams etc etc...
