Yep! I love it. I have the DNWB-200. Internal/External recirculating skimmer. Cheaper than anything else in this size, and works VERY well. Almost a perfect clone of some of the smaller and newer Euroreefs.

How are you feedin that skimmer Tech? Are you plumbed off the overflow or from a pump? I've been lookin at the octo recirc also for my 40g build. I haven't decided yet. Had my eye on the Octo extreme 160.

From a pump. I had it plumbed from the overflow for sometime upstairs but it didn't work as well. It didn't make as much skimmate, and when a snail would get into the impeller of the recirc pump, it would very slowly overflow. Not only that, but keeping the level set right in the skimmer without restricting the overflow was a problem.
Now if you run it in sump, have easy access to it, and have more than one overflow it could work well. I assume it didn't skim aswell because I had to keep the water level low to keep the the tank from overflowing.
Right now it is in my sump, pump fed, and skimming a full cup of dry skimmate every other day or so.
If you are looking for external, Reef Octo's are the best bang for your buck period. Very nice skimmers. If external is an option for you, then recirculating is the only way to go!

Have you read any reviews? I don't know about the cone thing. Seems like it would take away from contact time in the chamber, and lower the volume of the reaction chamber. My skimmer is 9" top to bottom.

i really have not seen any bad reviews on any of their skimmers. but I'm going to buy the 180 because of space issues and cost
