Here is a picture of my goby, he is hanging up by the wavebox so the picture is not the best.

I'm sure he is. I have this problem everytime I buy a new fish.

Yeah but getting sucked into the overflow teeth really hurts.

So check your sump lol. Every so often I have to divy up my snails again. Most of them end up in my sump.

I've talked to Justin at Aquatic Specialists, and he and I have concluded that my yellow watchman has moved on to that coral reef in the sky. My pistol shrimp has a nice little cave built and has been in and out, but no goby... :(

Sad to hear, I am sure mine is with yours. I have not seen it since the overflow attack

For some reason mine wanted to swim up at the top and then swam over to the overflow. My overflow teeth are apart more than normal so he got his head in there. I am not sure how long he was there.

Ouch. My green madarin loved my overflow. So I put his butt in my frag tank in the basement. He seems happy there.

Finally gave up on goby number 1. I visited Justin at AS to pick up another yellow watchman goby. Last night he burrowed in on the opposite side of the tank from the shrimp... This morning, though, when the lights came on, he was in the shrimp's burrow with the shrimp :) All day today, the goby has been keeping watch, while the shrimp adds on an extra room for his new companion. The shrimp is a lot more active now, too, and a lot less skittish now that he has someone to watch his back :)
