Thought I would stop in and indroduce myself :) My name's Jennifer and I am from good ol Fairborn, OH. I'm a newbie to the reef tank setup (3 months in), so please bear with me, there are so many things I'm trying to learn about this hobby that I tend to confuse myself, lol. Anyways, Eric found me on RC and gave me the info about this site. Glad he did cause I was looking to meet people and make new friends here in the area that are into this very interesting hobby. So, I guess I can tell you a little about my tank, nothing elaborate and I seem to be finding out the bare minimum. So here's what I got goin on:

-65 gallon reef
-80 or so lbs of LR
-2-3" sandbed
-2x65w PCs for lighting
-canister filter (I know, I know they suck), but I have a spare 30 gallon that I'm working on turning into a refugium, so if you have any tips please let me know :)
-For fish I have an osc clown, purple & yellow pseudo, coral beauty and a scopas tang. Oh, and a few snails and crabs (not sure what kind, they came with the tank) and a red brittle star.
-For corals I plan on sticking with the hardier types, mostly softies until I can get better lights. Right now I have a few small frags of xenia, encrusting gorgonian, yellow polyps (not sure what they are called) and some type of orange zoas?

I think that's about it for now. Nice to meet everyone!

you have to click on "go advanced" then to manage attachments under additional options, they also need to be downsized if the pic is too big. we can help you figure it out.
