T5s Flickering on and off!!??

My wife woke me last night telling me something was wrong with my lighting fixture on the 30g. The T5s are coming on and going off in quick pulses. Could this be a ballast related issue? Has anyone had this happen to them with their T5s?
The fixture is about 3 years old--Finnex--150w halide w/2 24w T5 supplements.
Just curious as I'm going to take the fixture apart and diag the ballasts for the T5s. I have a backup T5 fixture to use 4x39w while fixing the old fixture. Does anyone think this will affect my corals?

If your main lights are fine the others should not have a big impact on your corals.

My first guess would be the ballast is going bad.

Both bulbs or just one? I had one do this, it was a short in the endcap. If both are doing it, its the ballast.
