Calcium Reactor Media

I know alot of members do not run reactors but anyone every heard is this brand:
Tropic Eden *LARGE GRAIN* Calcium Reactor Media

I am think of trying it out. I have been using Gen-X Calcium reactor media.

i bought a calcium reactor, but have not hooked it up. i would like to know a little more about them before i plug this thing in. would you mind if i picked your brain for suggestions? i may stop in and look at yours to get an idea if you don't mind. right now i'm dosing with B-ionics, and i have a gallon each of calcium and alk to use up first.

Sure, I am ordering a small amount of media today and then next week I will be moving the reactor out from under the tank into the cabinet I made so looking at it will be easy.

well, i know very little about how to operate this device and i could use some tips and advice for sure.
