Don't tempt me man. How does this Chalice of yours grow? Encrusting? Or plating like a Monti Cap? Lets do it!

This chalice is encrusting. Not a very fast grower. Probably why it costs around $225 an eye online. Pink eyes--bubblegum color--just like its named. bluish base with green ribs. I got it from World Wide Corals right after I saw it on the cover of Reef Hobbyist Mag. Had to beg Lou Schiavo for a frag for about a month to get it. At that time he was the only one that had it for sale. Paid for one eyefrag, got two. Sweet! Took it about 2-3 months to color back up. Eats like a horse and grows faster if fed regularly. Gorgeous coral man! I'll get some pix up in a few days. Another sweet chalice I'm lookin at is the Superman chalice.

I dont know the names of those but I like the first and 6th pic the best but they are all VERY NICE.
And yes I would love a frag of each. I have a very nice piece but forget the name of it. It had 3 eyes when I got it about 3 months ago. Its only about 2sq inches and now has 8 eyes.
Someone said something about feeding them. Are you talking about target feeding them? How do you feed them.

I have a few fish in the tank with them that I feed flake thats the only direct feeding I do but this is one tank of many in a large system thats hooked together with refugiums so I'm guessing they get other natural foods also

I recently tried marine snow and was surprised to see the reactions of some of my corals. I cant really tell with some of them but others I can. My chalice has a nice layer of fine hair and my sun corals extend really larger than I have ever seen.

You said you had this nice chalice and that I may be interested. Right now, I have only taken a tiny one eye frag off this coral. Justin was first on my list. Another thing is that you have not been around since my meeting. You may also be confused about another coral that I fragged up a long time ago. So, I have you on the list. It will be a while before this coral gets fragged again. Probably when I start transfering coral to my 150...which I am just now getting plumbing done on and then has to cycle. So hold on to your panties dude you are on the list

I have a box too, takes photos the same as an underwater camera. And they always turn out better that way. That explains why he's using an A630.

I ask because the colors are bleeding into each other, the tell tale sign of over saturation. I'm not to ruffle anyones feathers, just doesn't look right. Aperature shows it missing metadata also, a sign that its been ran thru Photoshop or GIMP on windows. Of course, windows also randomly loses metadata and tags anyways, so who knows.

thanks for the comments as I take comments that my corals looked shopped as a good thing:) as you said I use a Canon A630 Powershot with its underwater case heres a few new shots from out of the water to back under so other then that have nothing to hide lol.
