For those that took a frag of this!

I can not say 100% this is the correct name but I think it is.
Here is the mother colony.

Its Pavona I believe. I have the same red/pink that you have, and a small frag of the Green pavona.

Very easy to frag, and very hardy coral. Slow grower, atleast for me anyways.

Justin has a few frags of Merulina. Which reminds, the wife wanted one :P

You maybe right about the Pavona, not sure. It was some time ago that I got it.

That there is a nice coral. Potato chips. Could be a Pavona cactus. Merulina scabricula has the same growth pattern.

From what I can see of the polyps I'm leaning toward pavona and a very nice piece at that.

Most of the pictures online that look like this coral are called lettuce corals so SG Lettuce Coral is the name and frags are $50 for a leaf...
Some lucky few have been given this nice coral for free before I knew it was worth alot :)

...................Now that I know that its worth so much I will break my piece into about 2500 pieces and put in grow-out tank for a couple weeks and then offer up a good price like 49.95 to feed my habit! :munky2:

HAHA ok as long as it is sold as a SG Lettuce, we will have to create some paperwork to track it and maybe a database.
