Some information about the Sailfin Tang from my views and some from the internet.

Scientific name: (Zebrasoma veliferum)

Minimum tank size: 125 Gallon tank is what is recommended online. I would say go 180 gallons for these tangs, they are huge and need alot of swimming room.

Food: Mine loves pellets and all foods I add to the tank. Eats off the rock alot, picking at the algae.

Care/Compatibility: Easy, does not seem to need anything special. Mine is mean to all new fish added to the tank. It trys to be top fish in the tank but the Angels seem to be above him in the command chain.

Reef Safe: So far I have not had any issues. I have mainly SPS corals, I do have a tube anemone. They seem to do like being in a group of one male and a few females

Other: Nice looking tang but not one of my favorites, I would really say thinktwice about adding one just because they are big and seem to want to be incharge.

Picture: I will post on soon.
