Drs. Foster and Smith made some new food. Unfortunately there isn't one for saltwater fish...yet. I'm trying the Goldfish Flakes for my pond fish. I will be feeding them this food exclusively for the next 2 weeks.

Day 1
They love it! Even my large shubunkin and large sarassa came to the top of the water to gulp it down. They aren't big fans of flakes either. They usually prefer Pondcare pellets.

Showcase fancy goldfish fed with high-quality flake food made with premium ingredients. Doctors Foster and Smith Goldfish Flakes Fish Food contain select ingredients to support consistent growth, color, and the well-being of your goldfish. Salmon fishmeal, high in protein and Omega-3 fatty acids, is the first ingredient to provide an excellent source of nutrition necessary for proper growth and development. Natural color enhancers from freeze-dried plankton, krill and spirulina bring out gorgeous coloration of your ornamental goldfish. Also contains Brewer's Yeast, a source of beta-glucan (a natural immunostimulant), as well as high levels of fish oil for increased palatability. Doctors Foster and Smith Goldfish Flakes are made in the USA to ensure optimal quality and goldfish nutrition. Contains no artificial colors or preservatives (many fish foods use ethoxyquin, which has been shown to cause mortality in fish). Will not cloud water. For daily nutrition of goldfish and all pond fish.

Days 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6:

The goldfish still love the food. The smaller goldfish seem to be growing faster. Is it from the food? Not sure. We'll see in the next days.

I noticed they had it for Tropical fish as well. Might have to get me some. When Superpets was closing their store, they ran some sales. I bought up the Tropical and Marine food. But, this food from the Drs. sounds much better. Thanks for posting it.

I will be buying the Koi food from them this Spring. It looks like a good food. I have improved their food over the last few years. Started out with the basic WallyWorld food. They quit eating back in October. Which is early for them. Thanks for the heads up on it.

If this weather keeps up, I might have to start feeding mine soon. They were actually swimming a little today.
