With the changes made to my return pump line and the extra tank sitting in my garage I set out to add an above tank refugium.
Here is what it looks like with just water:

The tank was purchased from a member that used it as a frag tank. I think it is a 10 gallon tank.
I need to measure it.
I will be adding cheato and an light over the next few days!

I like it, will be a good supply of pods that run back into the display.

Thanks I may get some to get all the critters.
I am not sure if I will keep running the under tank refugium or just shut it down.

What would be the thinking on shutting the undertank down? Seems like more volume, more fuge space, seperate fuge space would all be positives, can't think of any negatives.

I guess I should say more. I would keep the tank but it would no longer be a refugium. Right now the cheato does not grow much.
I am think of just adding more live rock and making it a cryptic zone.

I am looking forward to a cryptic zone in the upcoming multitank system, mostly because I want to see what grows in it!

I have some feather dusters and sponge already growing in there so they may take off if its dark
