How is everyone running there GFO? In a filter bag, canister, reactor or ? I have thinking of running GFO full time. I need to run 6 cups of GFO so I am looking at this unit: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/carbon-and-gfo/media-reactors-filter-bags/jumbo-brs-gfo-and-carbon-reactor.html I am thinking of running it by splitting of my return pump. Is this a good unit or should I look at something else?

I bought the BRS deluxe reactor about a month ago and it seems to be a well built piece of equipment. I have the maxijet 1200 running it now which may be a little strong for where I have it placed (ball valve is around halfway closed). I'm running it with GFO and carbon as of now. I dont think its been running long enough to make any judgement of its performance yet.

Wow that's a big boy that will do it. Am using BRS dual reactor but I stop using GFO yesterday cuz am dosing red sea NO3:PO4-X now.

I've never heard anything bad about BRS reactors, and they look like they can take a beating. I run mine in a phosban reactor

I use BRS product, but just in a mesh bag I put in the bubble trap in my sump. Change it out every couple months.
