Can't recall if I've already introduced myself (would've been 6 months to a yr ago)... thought I'd drop a hello just in case.

(New) reefer living outside fort wayne.. have been working on an in-wall 150 gal build for the last 2.5 yrs. (no water yet) :-(
tank dimensions = 48L x 24W x 31H
Most equip has been purchased (still have controller left to buy).
Sump is in basement and is old 90 gal tank.. I'm curr installing dividers/baffles/weirs.
"hoping" to have water in it by end of summer -- if not sooner.
Still reading and researching (does it ever end?)

equip:
two MP-40W pumps
one Iwaki RLT-70 return pump (have to fight about 10 -12 feet head pressure from basement)
two 250/400 watt select-a-watt electronic ballasts
two lumen max elite reflectors w/ 14K ushio bulbs (curr 400 W - debating whether I only need 250 W)
one dual-bulb T5 w/ super actinic and actinic blue bulbs (hoping to use as accent lighting after MH's are turned off -- prolly will be too much)
warner marine AS-300 skimmer
AEtech 600 Calc reactor
various GFO and Carbon filters
5 stage RO/DI
etc etc etc

Interests are volleyball, firefighting, scuba diving.

Welcome back to the site and forum. Sounds like you have been busy planning this build and putting together all the equipment needed. Should be a great build and please post a tank thread with pics when you start putting all this together. Look forward to seeing it progress. Research is neverending.....lol

:Hi::welcomeaboard:

Glad to have you, can not wait to see pictures of this build.

Your equipment list sounds good!

LOL... I "hope" the equipment list is good.. I had a rather large eye opener when I did a test fit of the AS-300 skimmer.. I have about 1/2 inch clearance and it just happens to be the outlet which is 1/2" from the glass.. hope this doesn't cause me grief... It also takes up considerable length (20").. Am hoping I'm still able to have some sense of a fuge after I get the skimmer and weirs installed.
hoping for pics soon.

As long as you can get it out for maintenance you should be fine :)
