i got my nano ya for me will have stand on thursday . i went with the quad pc bulb tank due to money reasons i think ill be happy also picked up a 12 gallon aquapod for my sons room

well bta anemone is on the move hopfully not on a path of destruction running over corals and snails i dont have much experiance with anemones i have a large rock with some orange and green shrooms on it and cant move rock without disturbing everything in the tank are the shrooms in trouble or am i being paraniod

after the led upgrade and losing battle with macro algea i have decieded to go with reef saver rock and increasing my sand bed to 2 inches i have started to remove all rock and add it to my 90 gallon softie tank and sump i will post some pics as soon as i get them resized

3115led upgrade will be removing drivers from housing due to heat transer not into tank but i dont like the drivers holding heat like that

3116these are some led under the counter puck lights i got them from menards they have a frsted cover witch i removed from them with a dremel tool they also plug into a driver by the means of usb style plug i have three and the driver has space for six will be adding more soon sorry for the bad pic had to shove the camera between the wall and tank

picked this up at reef systems used will be using it on the nano as well going to try and run carbon and gfo in the same unit may or may not work gotten mixed oppions on the idea but worth a try3121

Looks good. Dont forget to gently stir that sand in a bit. Dont want to smother all the critters and bacteria.

ty carrie added some snails and some hermits got a great deal from the guys at infinity coral im fighting off some diatoms to be expected all the corals still look good full expantion of polps i think i still need to beef up the cleaner crew a little i read astrea snails are good for diatoms ? they didnt have any at infinty might go to the cove tonight and check them out

Diatoms will go away as the tank matures, I'm not sure if astreas eat them, I'm thinking they don't. Is it on the sandbed? If so some nassarius will help stir it up.

31573158sand bed good and clean just some brown streamers ive been blowning them of and doing 3 gallon water changes every 2 of days phosban reactor is doing a great job glass has been staying super clean

Love the rockwork!! Bummer you had to start over, but the result is beautiful. Love the pocillopora and ponape frags. Is that another seriatopora? The ponape will grow fast.
