clam lighting theory

so we know blue clams need more light than gold or brown, but if you think about it the clam is absorbing every color of light except blue which it is reflecting (beatifully). So seeing how most of the light in our tanks is in the blue spectrem it seems that they need more light when really all they need is a different spectrem

I have never had an issue growing them under any color. I tend to have more white then blue light in my tank!
