Ray, I think with this guy you will want to use a bandsaw and cut through the middle of the mouth for best results. I have a magazine article that went fairly in-depth on this. I'll try to find it and post it next week. As far as the others, I think someone better qualified will chime in soon enough. I think the mushrooms should be easy enough, but I've never done them...

I accidentally fragged a ricordia mushroom. I was trying to get it to let go of one rock (it was attached to two) and it ripped in half. Both "halves" are fully healed and are doing great. They are bigger than the original. But, this could have been a fluke.
