what is your favorite fish and why?

I thought this would be a good topic.
what is your favorite fish and why?
Mine would have to be my purple tang. I have named her after my Grandmother whos name was Violet. This fish is so tame. It will eat right out of my fingers and nibbles at my fingers to get at the food. I can touch the sides of her and I think if i tried I would be able to catch and lift this fish out of the water with my palm.

This is very hard, I love the Emperor Angel and Hippo Tang due to color of the Emperor and the hippo just for being mostly blue.
I am starting to like the Yellow Tailed Angel alot as well also due to the color.

Really I like all my fish for one reason or another.

My favorite is my Sailfin Tang. He's fun to watch darting in and out of the rocks, turning on his side to go through rocks. And when I put my finger on the glass, he poofs his fins out.

i would say mine is my blue star leopard wrasse because they are so cool looking. that is really cool how your tang interacts with you. how long have you had it?

I bought my purple tang probably over a year or so ago. I got her from lazylivin. I think my tank is her third home kindof like an orphan fish. I had another purple tang several years ago and it also was tame.

I acquired this little guy from Dodd a few years back. He has a lot of personality coupled with attitude. My first fish in the 30g.

i would have to say its the new wrasse they dont have a comman name yet but the science name is Cirrhilabrus Beauperryi http://www.aqua-aquapress.com/IMG/vol-14-3/Cirrhilabrus.jpgbought the pair from Rich at Coral Ranch a few weeks ago,they set my take off when they start flashing

Honestly, I kinda like the guy. He was my first tang, and tangs are my favorite fish. Hes in the frag tank to take care of some hair algae. I don't have a single strand of Algae in the 75 now, but the frag tank is being over run. I got a lawnmower blenney, but he swam over to the 55G sump full of macro algae and has no interest in the frag tank.

I love Tangs. The Sailfin was my first also. I've had Blues and Browns, but they always got Ick. So, I gave up on them. Would like to try a different Tang some day.

Ive had my purple tang for about 4 years never had ick or any other health prob.they r a very cool fish

Do you have a cleaner shrimp? My cleaner always takes care of the tangs. They are going in the frag tank when I can catch them too.

I have 2 cleaner shrimp. I see them clean the fish, but the other Tangs still died. I've not seen a Purple Tang. Do you have a pic ? How big do they get ?

Thats weird. My Sailfin killed a few tangs. I would have to get Justin to print recipes. Blonde Naso, Yellow Tang, two Clown Tangs, and a few more.

My Sailfin is sweet. My Coral Beauty is a :censored2:. I bought a Tile Star from Justin and the Coral Beauty killed it. She has nipped at everything I put in there. Maybe I should throw her in the sump ...
